The West Wall Medal (Deutsches Schuztwall-Ehrenzeichen) was awarded for participation in the construction of the Western defense system. Between 1939 and January 1941, 662,064 awards were made. It became possible to award it again on 1944.10.10., the number of awards after that is unknown.
