General Assault Badge with nice finish and fine details.

Thanks to the wear on the front of the badge, the different layers can be beautifully observed. The grayish zinc base material, the copper coating, and then the silver color applied. The purpose of the so-called "copper coating" process was to achieve better color retention and higher quality.

The setup is intact and works.

The badge got its name "half moon" ("halbmond" ) from the shape of the hinge plate, which was typical of this, still unknown manufacturer.
