Beautiful condition, tombak-based cross. The yellowish base metal is visible at the ends of the cross and on the higher parts of the wreath beneath the silvering.
Intact, functional mounting, directly soldered to the cross.
Award case also in excellent condition, with KVK silhouette on the lid. Silk interior intact.
Hinge and clasp fully functional, closes nicely.
Based on characteristic features (uneven arm ends, leaves of differing size at 12 o’clock, “off-center” ribbon positioning beneath the cross), this piece is likely an early Deumer production.
